About Us
The Meet up in Lab International Conference is the result of students’ enthusiasm to spread their interest in science. This event is organized by the Department of Basic Medical Sciences, Wroclaw Medical Univeristy, from which the Student Scientific Circle of Flow Cytometry and Biomedical Research originates. It will be held on October 8, 2022 (Saturday) at the Faculty of Pharmacy at the Wroclaw Medical University.
This is a unique meeting, the first so large and bringing together science enthusiasts, which is coordinated by the students of Student Scientific Circle of Cytometry in collaboration with other Scientific Circles operating at the WMU. This event honors the monthly meetings of SKN members held under the same name – Meet up in Lab, bringing together students of pharmacy and medical analytics at WMU. During the meetings, we share the progress of our research to date, discuss new possibilities and perspectives of our activities, and present ideas and innovative modifications that can be introduced to the tests carried out in the lab.
With this conference, we introduce to a larger group of aspiring scientists the idea of spreading the love of science and searching for interesting topics that can broaden its spectrum. Thus, we invite students, university graduates as well as scientists and academics who do not hold a PhD degree as of the submission deadline to present at the conference.
A regular feature of Meet Up in Lab meetings of SSC Cytometry is inviting guests who share their experience, reveal opportunities for further development and inspire us with their achievements.This aspect will also be present at the Conference. Between the speeches of applying participants, speakers will present their own interpretation of the Meet Up in Lab idea.
